Altea is a popular summer destination for visitors from all over Europe. With 2km of pebble beach there are always seaside properties available, generally with large terraces enjoying fantastic Mediterranean views.

Altea old town, dominated by the glazed blue dome of the church, is full of Spanish charm. There is a maze of pebble paved streets leading to the church square. You will find many renovated properties here, generally with rooftop terraces with wonderful views, however parking can be a problem.

Nearby is Altea la Vieja where the original urbanisations were built. The hillside in this area is dotted with large villas with pools and is the home of the Don Cayo golf course, the Sierra de Altea urbanisation and the impressive Altea Nova apartments.
Further around the N332 coast road you will find Altea Hills, this is where the majority of new developments are being constructed, there is a wealth of choice of both apartments and villas here, all with magnificent views across the bay. This area is the home of the Melia Altea Hills hotel and spa.

Pueblo Mascarat is a growing area that extends from the Luis Campomnes sports harbour towards Calpe, up the slopes of the Moro de Toix. The harbour offers both apartments and townhouses amongst the restaurants, bars and shops. Mascarat is a mixture of apartments and contemporary villas, most with fantastic views of both the bay and the mountains, all within walking distance of the beaches and harbour.
